Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is leading strategic company initiatives across the chain for the field, while delivering an outstanding customer experience and achieving our purpose of whole health for life. The position supports change management, delivering increased financial performance and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
  • Direct leaders in the planning, development, execution, monitoring of strategic initiatives, business plans and objectives to achieve sales, margin, profitability, internal and external customer experience while instilling brand standards within a collaborative culture with business partners.
  • Use of key financial metrics to evaluate business cases to analyze data for business growth.
  • Oversee planogram completion, zero count completion, price completion and continuously identify store process improvement needs and opportunities to design and deploy effective solutions.
  • Work with Division Presidents and Region Leaders to close knowledge gap with Store Managers
  • Compose, format and deliver well written and comprehensive Store Operations communications to the stores and field. Includes research, collaboration with other functional areas and ensure accuracy and appropriateness of content.
  • Lead and maximize profit potential of store revenue programs including lottery, money transfer/money order services, ATM's and postage stamps. Identify opportunities to expand revenue base with additional service programs in stores, that are attractive to customers and easy to execute.
  • Oversee front-end IT rollout and monitor projects and programs after launch to ensure sustainability and make appropriate adjustments to ensure excellence in execution and change management.
  • Oversee the authority required to operate and sell in all jurisdictions across the organization; and organize licensing initiatives to obtain, track and renew all required pharmacy, front end licenses e.g., alcoholic beverage, propane, lottery licenses etc. and approvals as required by federal, state and local regulation.


The typical starting pay range for this position is between $167,500.00 - $240,700.00 annually. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
