Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to monitor store activity and minimize risks. The Analyst will utilize data analysis, video review, and alerts while identifying and escalating risks to the AP field team. All duties must be completed with urgency with a focus on proactive identification of risks and opportunities in the areas of shrink and cycle counts. The Analyst will be the primary resource for ORC administration including KTR review, video review, alert documentation development and networking via law enforcement and retail partners. This role will also support the field via remote investigative efforts including internal video review, external video review and phone interviews / investigations.
Job Responsibilities
  • Runs data analysis to identify internal theft activity via 20-20, 10-10 and other information resources.
  • Conduct Organized Retail Crime (ORC) investigations via KTR analysis, video review, evidence retention, networking with law enforcement and other retailers, and communication with field team.
  • Conduct video review of alarm exception activity including opening, closing and irregular events and communicate discrepancies to field AP team.
  • Conduct remote video review focusing on external theft activity in selected locations based on KTR and cycle count trends.
  • Monitors 24/7 weather, civil unrest and other risks; conducts law enforcement notification, evidence retrieval, and case documentation.
  • Conduct critical incident support via video review, evidence retention, and law enforcement partnership. Provide 3si cash / RX tracker communication to law enforcement.
  • Monitor gift card & Western Union scam alerts, partner with store locations and field leadership to deter loss.
  • Conduct internal investigations, including phone interview, as needed.
  • Support the stores / field AP by troubleshooting CCTV and EAS issues and escalating with service partners via Service Channel.
  • Partner with corporate partners on drug loss and internal cases as needed.

· Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills are preferred. The incumbent will be required to use web-based forms for case management, where spelling and/or ability to use spell check is necessary. Possess the ability to follow and apply electronic communication including, but not limited to: e-mail, texting, etc.

· Based upon business needs, may be assigned to wear team attire, or casual dress

· Minimum age of 18 years old

· Ability to pass drug test

· Ability to preserve confidentiality of information

· Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency

· Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis

· Ability to work extended days on an occasional basis

· Ability to work day, or evening hours

· Accuracy and attention to detail

· Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects

Compensation

The typical starting pay range for this position is between $25-32/hr, although compensation can vary based on experience and geography.
