Job Summary
The Director, Network Engineering is repsonsible for data and voice, consisting of cloud and data center network, stores network, supply chain and corporate campus network This role leads and supports existing systems, create a roadmap for the respective departments, assist in budget planning and resourcing, and ready the teams for substantial growth. This role is responsible for architecting technical solutions, creating and tracking metrics and KPIs as well as define/support relevant SLAs per service.
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all aspects of an organization’s network systems including software, hardware and support.
  • Recommends, implements, maintains network architectures (LAN & WAN) and Security.
  • Create strategies and specific objectives for all department sub-functions.
  • Develop budgets/policies/procedures to support corporate infrastructure.
  • Lead a team of engineers responsible for developing detailed project specifications and overseeing projects to completion.
  • Partner with stakeholders and leadership across multiple business, operational and technology channels.
  • Select and manage network hardware and software service providers.
  • Provide technical and business direction for IT infrastructure related to network, voice, video, and related technologies.
  • Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure voice/data network capacity meets existing and future requirements
  • Identifies, recommends, and drives multi-year Network and Telecom technology strategies to address business needs and unlocks business capabilities.
  • Understand business processes, and assess business needs to assist with the development and deployment of network services
  • Establishes business objectives and integrates operational plans.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance
  • Continually improve operations via effective metrics, root cause analysis, and problem management
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to provide governance and ensure compliance
  • Partner with managed service suppliers and outsource partners to deliver end-to-end services matched to established SLAs
  • Manage telecom service providers, Operation services, terrestrial, satellite and wireless network service providers, VOIP and IVR technologies, Cloud contact centers, POTS lines, WAN Service providers.
  • Solid understanding of network security standards. Support Audit and compliance of industry regulations SOX, PCI, HIPAA, High Trust, Develop and maintain network policies
  • Responsible for collaboration technologies (Webex Teams and Meeting), Remote Access

*The typical starting pay range for this position is between $140,495 - $201,895 annually, although wages can very based on experience and geography.
