As a Receiver you will be responsible for receiving and verifying the contents of incoming shipments to our Distribution Center. Your purpose is to demonstrate your warehouse experience and be a positive and safe example to others.

Day-in-the-Life of a Receiver:
- Sort inbound shipments according to predetermined guidelines.
- Examine all products for defects; sort them according to the extent of their damage; attach damage identification to each; record information concerning damaged product in the computer system.
- Verify the contents of inbound shipments with purchase orders to ensure all items were received.
- Enter information about each item (description, quantity received, purchase order number, receiver's initials, etc) into the computer system.
- Unload and unpack incoming shipments (if applicable).
- Complete all paperwork necessary for vendors to be properly paid.
- Ensure area is clean and free of debris.

Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to speak, comprehend and read English in the written form required.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), plus minimal warehouse experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
*Earn while you learn* This position requires a valid Material Handling Equipment (MHE) OSHA license. We will train and certify you on-site.
