Job Summary
Provide systems support to the distribution center in the area of IPTI, WMS, Rapistan, Pick to Lite, Inet, ect. Candidate must be able to provide service and upkeep of Sato printers, scanning equipment, Sortation equipment, which includes servers and software, various PLCs throughout the building including the ability to read and write logic and input and output boards and repair hardware issues with the above listed items and other electronic equipment not listed. This position will assist a variety of departments within the distribution center to: locate missing totes and recover tote history, IPTI and Rapistan data collection for the Prorep Department, and troubleshooting system related problems for the IS Department and Systems Department. The position will coordinate project/installs, upgrades, and various systems fixes with vendors and internal customers. Person must be able to attend and help facilitate meetings with vendors, associates, and members of management for the purpose of discussing various issues, problems, fixes, and installs. Candidate will be required to train line mechanics, supervisors and Rite Aid personnel in their areas of responsibility as well as provide assistance as a last line of troubleshooting which includes being on call to assist during off shift hours. Candidate must possess excellent knowledge of electronics and repair, as well as in depth knowledge of computer/servers. The selected candidate must be willing to carry an on-call phone and be willing to, either by telephone or by returning to work, assist operations to reduce production downtime.

Responsible for installation, repairs and maintenance of electrical components, wiring and electrical equipment and completing general repairs and maintenance

Operate manual battery pullers to change batteries in MHE equipment and at elevated heights inside of battery rack locations

Perform preventive maintenance to battery pullers, batteries, wash cabinets, and battery racks

Build, repair, and paint various interior and exterior finishes, perform inspections on regulatory components of the distribution center-10%

qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)   required.

 • 7 years of experience in HVAC, Plumbing and/or Electric required.

 

 

Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations
