ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Engage customers seeking guidance on pharmacological and non-pharmacological options for health condition management using provided clinical tools, and delivering information based on customer-preferred communication method.

- Provide clinical pharmacy services based on state regulations, including, but not limited to, adherence support, immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), point-of-care testing (POCT), diagnostic testing, and prescriptive authority to improve patient therapeutic outcomes.

- Leveraging products and services to benefit the customer and build profitable retail business and script growth.

- Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions filled, by completing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance, applicable to DEA, State and Federal Board of Pharmacy regulations.

- Provide appropriate patient care with in-person, telephonic or digital means, collaborating with providers and patient care teams focused on patient health, and wellness outcomes.

- Assist Pharmacy Manager with the supervision of the pharmacy by providing leadership to the pharmacy associates and supervise the completion of their training, provide coaching, and performance feedback.

- Handle and resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Complete company required certifications, education and training. These requirements include but are not limited to Whole Being Health including traditional medicine and holistic wellness and alternative therapies, support for clinical service activities, training for regulatory requirements.

- Maintain appropriate security of the Pharmacy department.

- Ensure that Standard Work is followed for performing activities or processes. Standard work documentation contains instructions, useful graphics, and must be followed to ensure that work is done consistently no matter who does it.
