Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to manage and maintain the functional support, system development, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Workday time tracking system. This position serves as the subject matter expert for Workday time tracking, including Rite Aid pay practices and time and attendance laws and regulations.
Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute plans for implementation of projects, including business, risk and cost analyses, requirements definition, design and development of specifications, testing criteria, user training and system and user documentation. Create documentation, develop test plans and conduct Disaster Recovery testing.
  • Develop and execute internal system controls, review release notes, ensure functionality is working. Collaborate with the HRIS, payroll, and store operations teams for configuration changes, process improvement opportunities and to drive adherence within the Workday system.
  • Provide and drive recommendations regarding proposed projects in Workday including clarifying business risks, evaluating system issues, and determining functional needs working with management to achieve the best possible solution.
  • Design and perform audits to identify issues before pay is impacted, research and resolve user questions, problems, unexpected results, or process flaws; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet user needs. Design and process audits of the Workday Time Tracking Module in response to litigation and management analytical needs.
  • Define and coordinate with the HRIS Team to develop and/or enhance functional capability of the Workday Time Tracking and Payroll system to solve business needs/problems and enhance the understanding and acceptance of the system. Test program changes and upgrades provided by Workday or the HRIS Support Team.
  • Maintain an understanding of employment regulations, industry trends, union contracts and negotiations, current practices pertaining to time tracking and various federal, state and local requirements.

The typical starting pay range for this position is between [$88,000 - $126,250], although wages can vary based on experience and geography.
