Sr Analyst, Privacy
- Assess, investigate, and resolve a myriad of complex privacy incidents and inquiries
- Conduct privacy risk assessments for all investigations and maintain case files with detailed documentation of all background facts, corrective actions, and supporting compliance activities in partnership with other Privacy team members
- Coordinate activities related to the FTC Consent Order focused on privacy matters and assist with maintaining any applicable accreditation standards (e.g., HITRUST, SOC, URAC, NCQA, PCI, etc.) across the enterprise
- Track and analyze privacy data trends and compile results into easily understandable charts, graphs, and presentations; use results to help design improved systems, implement new tools/technologies, update policies and procedures, and provide training to Enterprise associates on privacy matters whenever applicable
- Assist in managing associate compliance with the organization’s privacy policies, in cooperation with human resources and employees’ supervisors
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy laws and accreditation standards
- Work with employees involved with the release of protected health information to ensure coordination and compliance with applicable policies and procedures and legal requirements
- Assist in the development of education and training materials, including articles for posting to The SPOT and other communications relating to Privacy program activities
- Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams for process improvements at the direction of the Chief Privacy Officer
- Where requested by the Chief Privacy Officer, help review business associate agreements, confidentiality agreements, non-disclosure agreements, vendor contracts, client vendor authorizations and other Privacy related documents
- Manage the response to third party authorization requests for access to client data (client vendor authorizations)
- Collaborate with information security, technology and compliance teams to ensure alignment with security and privacy practices
- Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with personnel in other operational areas
