Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to facilitate, execute, and deliver diverse multiple projects and improvement initiatives spanning across departments and Rite Aid companies, while ensuring project success and achievement of strategic company objectives. This includes playing an active role in the project, as well as managing and directing project resources, building Transformation Office operating model capabilities, and being a consultative resource to our CTO.
Job Responsibilities
  • Accountable for successful execution of project/initiative which includes delivery of project objectives. Work will include but not limited to establishing project plan, stakeholder management plan, communication plan, project status reporting, milestones, KPIs, risk mitigation, financial tracking and Transformation Office/executive presentations.
  • Act as a consultant and advisor to the CTO by making business performance improvement and specific transformation workstreams recommendations. Recommendations will include specific solutions to business problems, opportunities to accelerate progress, mitigating risk and project management guidance to ensure results. Contributions will include identifying and removing blockers to progress, identifying new value and opportunities to improve organizational or workstream performance.
  • Gather, organize and analyze project/initiative performance, tracks financial deliverables and project/workstream dashboards.
  • Act as a change agent for Transformation Office operating model. Teach the transformation office model to the organization. Determine where success occurred on key priorities and where they can improve results.
  • Partners with cross-functional leads to identify initiative opportunities, gather requirements, conduct research and analysis to support business cases, and draft business cases.
  • Maintain project documentation (including timelines, milestones and budgets) risks and actions to ensure flawless execution.
  • Manages cross-functional interdependencies and risks, and devises contingency plans, to ensure successful and on-time project delivery.
  • Partners with procurement team to drive RFPs, including vendor selection, negotiation and contracting.
  • Frequent communication with upper level and C-Suite leadership.

WORK EXPERIENCE
5 years in Project Management (including planning, tracking and delivery)

Experience communicating effectively with C-Suite as well as managing conflict. Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
