Job Summary
The Sr Manager, Information Governance is responsible for supporting Rite Aid’s Information Governance program objectives. The position is responsible for supporting the implementation of the organization's vision surrounding information governance. In addition, this position evaluates existing document retention strategies and drive proposals for enhancements to optimize Rite Aid’s information governance and document retention program.
Job Responsibilities
  • Support physical records management program including management of relationship with 3rd party record storage provider.
  • Support recurring records classification and remediation projects for physical box inventory.
  • Perform assessments of current business practices relating to proper records management.
  • Direct and manage current information management activities and develop organizational strategies that assist the business in achieving their goals in the information governance space.
  • Support program development through designing and implementing proper awareness training for organization.
  • Facilitate stakeholder agreement on long term vision for information governance, document management, and e-discovery.
  • Understand organizational business plans, goals, and objectives and how those relate to Rite Aid’s ongoing information governance, information management and e-discovery efforts.

Possess the skills required to lead the management of information from creation or receipt through processing, distribution, organization, storage and retrieval, and final disposition.

Build and maintain information management program effectiveness by setting benchmarks, evaluating program performance, and reallocating resources accordingly.

Required

Work with key stakeholders in the Information Technology, Legal and Risk Management areas of the business to implement new policies, processes, and technologies, which will assist in strengthening the capabilities of the organization as it pertains to information management.

Required

Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to proactively mitigate and manage the potential for damage to or loss of records and information through the use of effective risk analysis methods, which should identify the probability that records and information could be damaged or lost.

Required

Execute proper risk management assessments to examine what the known or anticipated risks are for information loss.

Required

Understand and apply business, legal, and regulatory requirements (both federal and state) to ensure that the organizations risk management posture is compliant with all applicable regulations related to information governance.

Have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate, report, illustrate and communicate risks to business leadership

The typical starting pay range for this position is between [$112,300 - $161,050], although wages can vary based on experience and geography.
