Pharmacy Technician - In Training
-Provide prompt customer service in the Pharmacy department by engaging with customers in a helpful and friendly manner. 20%
-Adhere to workflow procedures and process to ensure customers’ prescription orders are ready when promised. 20%
-Perform data entry activities by processing customer’s prescriptions, performing calculations, updating customer profile, and submitting third party reimbursements where permitted by state law. 20%
-Prepare prescription orders by retrieving the appropriate medication, create label, count and place in container for pharmacists verification where permitted by state law. 20%
-Assist with the reconstitution of oral suspension where permitted by state law.
-Assist with maintaining the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean, clutter free and organized. 5%
-Utilize Rite Aid clinical programs to assist with customer adherence by processing will call daily and contacting the customer, and making patient care calls. 5%
-Promote whole being health by contacting customers regarding immunization and other company clinical services.
-Maintain inventory management by removing outdates, ordering products as needed and preparing for store inventory. 5%
-Successfully and timely complete Rite Aid Pharmacy Technician training program, learning modules and certification course, as well as other training required by the company. 5%
HS (GED) required
The typical starting pay range for this position is between $15.70 - $27.93 hourly, although wages can very based on experience and geography.
