Technology Services Analyst

Job Description

SUMMARY

Analyze technology financial information and prepare Total Cost of Ownership documentation to support the costs associated with our product applications. Monitor, track and analyze costs associated with all technology platforms including but not limited to Products, Infrastructure, Networks, Telephony, DataBases, Data Centers, and Computer Operations. Review and analyze technology statement of work documentation from technology vendors.  Make sure statements of work are incorporated into Capital and Expense budgets. Track and analyze technology vendor invoices, and purchase orders to ensure they are in compliance with technology vendor contracts and related documents. Review Total Cost of Ownership documentation for new technology projects. Assists the Senior Technology Services Analyst with complex and interpretive financial analyses.   Frequent independent judgments are essential. The incumbent is also required to perform all tasks in observance of Rite Aid’s brand and strategy and adhere to our core values and service attributes.

Experience / Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

 

  • Monitor, track and analyze all expense and capital costs associated with all technology platforms including but not limited to Products, Infrastructure, Networks, Telephony, DataBases, Data Centers, and Computer Operations.
  • Review and analyze technology statement of work documentation from technology vendors. Make sure statements of work are incorporated into Capital and Expense budgets. Ensure that statements of work are in agreement with vendor contracts and documentation.  Align vendor invoices with corresponding statements of work as well as project spends.
  • Analyze technology financial information and prepare Total Cost of Ownership documentation as it relates to the costs associated with our product applications.  Review and obtain approval on TCO's from TS financial partners. Review Total Cost of Ownership documentation for new technology projects.
  • Track and analyze technology vendor invoices and purchase orders to ensure they are in compliance with technology vendor contracts and related documentation.   Review vendor invoices and the relationship to where the technology spend.
  • Assist the Senior Technology Services Analyst with complex and interpretive financial analysis.  Present financial analysis results.

Education

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, the associate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required:

 

Education and/or Experience

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS)  Accounting, Finance, Business or Computer Science preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in understanding spending & financial transactions as it relates to technology required.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
